HADDENHAM ladies' fine run of form continued as they picked up their fourth win in a row with an 8-1 demolition of Isleham.

Katie Read opened the scoring for the visitors with an excellent finish from a tight angle into the far corner.

The lead was soon doubled when Rebecca Tomkins fired in a rebound after Read's strike had clattered off a post.

Haddenham were keen to press home their advantage in the second half and got off to the perfect start by scoring in the first minute after the restart, Vicki Emms firing home from outside the box.

Jacki Whittick made it 4-0 with a strong finish, before substitute Vicky Hutchinson scored two quick goals to bring Isleham's deficit to six. Though the home side pulled one back, any hope of a miraculous comeback was quashed when Dawn Ludrooke poked the ball past the keeper to make it 7-1.

Whittick then capped a man of the match performance with an outstanding goal, volleying the ball over the stranded Isleham goalkeeper from a full 50 yards.
