A LUCKLESS Soham Town Rangers side crashed to their third successive defeat on Saturday at the hands of high-flyers Woodford United.
Despite matching their promotion-chasing opponents for much of the game, the Greens were undone 10 minutes from time as a goal-keeping clearance cannoned off United striker Nathaniel Liburd and into the goal.
The loss sees the Greens slip back into 19th place ahead of their clash with North Greenford United on Saturday.
Napier went closest for Soham in a tight first half but his shot from outside the box flew across the goalkeeper and wide.
