SIX boys from the Ely area have signed for Cambridge United FC and are now attending their Centre of Excellence Programme.
Conor Loker, Elliot Littlefield, Daniel Jeffrey, Karl Anderson, Tyrell Barrett and Tyler Phillips will all be representing Cambridge United's newly launched Centre of Excellence against other professional clubs on a weekly basis. The boys have progressed through the ranks after attending an Advanced Coaching Centre at Ely Community College. This was attended by Ryan Hutton, who after two years on the course, has now signed a two-year contract with Norwich City FC.
Cambridge United are always on the lookout for new talent and they are holding a summer coaching course next week in Ely. The course will run from Monday to Friday at Ely City Football Club. Days will run from 10am until 3pm and the course will cost £45 for the week, although children will be allowed to book for individual days is necessary.
