Golfers at Ely City Golf Club were treated to a visit by one of the sports most recognisable names last weekend.
David Howell stopped off at the city club to enjoy a few holes and a chat with members on August 12.
Howell has six professional victories to his name and has won the European Tour five times; most recently the 2013 Alfred Dunhill Links Championship.
The 42-year-old was a member of the 2004 and 2006 European Ryder Cup teams and in July 2014 became the 27th person and second youngest player in European Tour history to make 500 appearances on the tour while playing at the Alstom Open de France.
The Swindon-born star was most recently in action at the Porsche European Open in Germany last month, but was forced to pull out due to a back complaint.
