Little Downham brothers Jack and Bill Martin are leaving their rivals on the start line - but need sponsorship to ensure further progress in the fiercely competitive world of go-karting.

Jack, 14, who attends City of Ely Community College, won his cadet championship two years ago and has just taken second place in the TKM championship, only losing first place on overall races won throughout the season after the championship ended in a draw.

Eight-year-old Bill only started racing in April last year but he still managed a fine sixth place in the Honda Cadet Championship. The Downham Feofees pupil was also awarded the 'drivers' driver' trophy at this year's presentation evening.

The brothers both race in Club 2000 at Red Lodge Karting Centre near Newmarket, and would be most grateful for any sponsorship received, however large.

In return for any contributions, the company name will be advertised on the karts or the racing trailer.

If any business or individual is interested in sponsoring the Martins, please telephone 01353 699380.
