LITTLEPORT Sports Centre played host to some of the region's finest badminton players in an international tournament held at the weekend.
Newmarket Badminton Federation organised the return of the NBF International Tournament, now in its 16th year, for February 14-15 with players from as far afield as Belgium taking part.
The tournament featured 12 teams, each consisting of two men and two women, who all competed in a round-robin style league.
Play started at 9am on both the Saturday and Sunday with a gruelling schedule of games making for a hectic and unrelenting event for the teams.
For details and reaction from all the winners, check back on the website and look out for a copy of The Ely Standard this Thursday.
