Fulbourn make swift work of clinching Ross Peers Carpet Bowls Summer League title

The Fulbourn Swifts have been crowned the Soham Ross Peers Carpet Bowls Summer League champions.

The Swifts made easy work of clinching the league title, finishing their campaign with 16 points.

Runners-up, the Soham Livewires, also had a successful season, finishing two points behind on 14.

The two sides received their trophies at the conclusion of the season, which began 12 weeks ago.

Anyone interested in playing carpet bowls at the Ross Peers Centre are welcome to the Carpet Bowls Drives that are to be held on Wednesday evenings at 7.30pm, beginning on August 3.
