FORDHAM cemented their place at the top of the Tucker Gardner Premier League with a resounding 127 run win over Kimbolton.
Despite a near-disastrous start that saw them slip to 14-3 early on, Fordham soon rallied and emerging star Gnik, chipped in with a timely 49 to add to Darren Theobold's 44 to help the visitors reach 201-6.
Although a decent return, Fordham's total was far from insurmountable and a number of early breakthroughs were required to help steady the ship. Fortunately, paceman Jason Harding was in fine fettle and he produced a spell-binding nine over spell that saw him collect 4-10, proving ruinous for a crumbling Kimbolton.
Fordham 2nd XI meanwhile, recorded by far the largest score this term with a remarkable seven-an-over 283-5 against Willingham.
Scott Blaber (98) and Chamilla Priyankara (84) led the way for the home side with an opening stand of 173.
Willingham were forced to adopt an understandably aggressive approach in response to Fordham's score, but they failed to ever get going and managed to reach just 145. Phil Dean (2-21) and Ryan Clark (2-18) led the way for the bowlers.
