With the help of Frodsham's three goals, the first of which was greeted with the biggest cheer of the season, two from Lewis Hook and a Sam Scarborough strike put Ely 6-0 up.
Braces from Jake Butler and Jordan Marston made it 10-0 by half-time.
Following an own goal and one each for George Leech and Evan Jeckells, Hook completed his hat-trick.

Balsham Colts 2

'PORT finished their season in style with a fine away win to secure a top four place in their first season playing 11-a-side.
Town started well but Balsham opened the scoring with a fine shot from the edge of the box.
Cameron James fired in the equaliser and the home team started to wilt under the constant pressure.
Jed Oak-Leigh volleyed in his first ever Littleport goal after a corner to make it 2-1 but Balsham got back on level terms in the second half.
Nico Bishop went on a solo run to notch his 42nd goal of the season, and Ben Hawkins curled in a corner to complete a fabulous first season for 'Port.
Haverhill 2 Ely City 3
ELY responded superbly to an early Haverhill strike when Jordan Miller slotted home after good work from Will Law.
Ryan Howell smashed a 20-yard screamer against the crossbar, and City had a huge penalty claim turned down before Matt Waites chipped the goalkeeper to put them into the lead after a superb Codie Couzens pass.
Waites scored his second to make it 3-1 in the second half after an excellent free-kick from Couzens.
When Haverhill did break Sam Bryan, Alex Newton and keeper Dan Beavis coped superbly.
Great Paxton 2 Witchford 2
SAM Young won and scored a penalty, 30 seconds from time, to earn Witchford a superb draw.
Both teams were fighting to stay near the top of the league, and the hosts went 2-0 up.
The visitors had three shots scrambled off the line before Seb Hutter crashed the ball home on the stroke of half-time.
The Great Paxton defence stood up to further Witchford pressure in the second half, until Young kept his cool to send the goalkeeper the wrong way with a penalty he won after latching on to a superb Dan Butcher pass.
