BOTH teams battled hard, with Witchford starting brighter thanks to an early goal by Georgia Day. An own goal saw St Ives level the score on the stroke of half time. Girl of the game, Megan Holden, was a heroine in the Witchford goal during the second half and she saved a barrage of shots but couldn't stop them all. St Ives scored the decisive goal with five minutes to go.
