LTFC 1906 are through to the last four after a niggly 4-1 win at Meldreth United.

Luke Butcher made the interval score 2-0 with a cracking effort after 16-year-old Sean Monigatti had opened the scoring with a header, and Chris Wilson twice finished coolly before the hosts produced a late consolation goal.

Triple-S meanwhile reached the fifth round of the VB Trophies League Cup, winning by the odd goal in five at Arbury.

LEAGUE MATCHES

Wilburton Albion preserved their 100 per cent league record in Division 4A as they came from two goals down to beat Studlands Park.

Wilburton missed early chances and found themselves a goal down following Wayne Fleet's handling error, and a breakaway goal made it 2-0 soon afterwards.

Albion responded in the second half when a Will Ludbrooke corner somehow evaded everyone on its way into the net, and Lawrence Maltby - on for first-half injury victim Mel Pryer - levelled the scores at 2-2.

'Paddy' Freeland put the visitors in front for the first time soon afterwards, but a defensive lapse let in Studlands for the equaliser.

Ludbrooke restored Wilburton's advantage from a Jamie Palmer cross however, and Freeland scored twice to complete his hat-trick and make the final score 6-3.

In Division 3A Little Downham United crashed 4-0 at home to Newmarket Albion Reserves, but the same scoreline saw Village Inn consolidate their position at the top of the table.

It wasn't a great performance at Kitsonians, but goals from Mark Heading (2), Michael Ward and last week's hat-trick hero Jonathan Chase were more than enough.

Ely Park Rangers returned to winning ways in Division 1A, staving off the second half challenge of University Chemical Labs to win 4-2.

Chris Lupson and Jamie Gayfer (2) made it 3-0 at half-time, and David Cornwell made the points safe with a fourth goal after the break.
