SOHAM Under 18s crashed out of the Eastern Junior Cup last night after falling to a disappointing 3-0 loss at home to Brentwood Town.

Despite matching their hardy opponents for more than an hour, Soham fell foul of three second-half goals which proved decisive blows and ultimately cost them a place in the final.

The key breakthrough for the visitors came from Martyn Stokes just after the hour mark with further goals coming from Joe Smith and Ollie Dingli.
