A SECOND half hattrick from Bekka Tomkins saw Haddenham Ladies cruise to a superlative win over Cambridge Rovers Reserves.

Cambridge, who were fielding three first team players, struggled throughout to cope with Haddenham's passing football and were almost powerless to act as the home side notched up four goals in either half..

Kelly Docrwa continued her excellent recent form scoring the opening two goals for the home side, both times beating the offside trap to finish expertly. To their credit, Cambridge replied to the early setback, netting with their only real shot on target to reduce their arrears.

Skipper Jackie Whittick, then produced a stunning free kick finding the top corner from 25 yards.

Tomkins then produced a superb second half hattrick, wriggling through a crowded defence to slam home her first. Rounding the keeper and slotting into the empty net for her second, and rounding things off with a measured brilliant free kick from the edge of the box. In-between Docrwa scored her fourth goal of the day and seventh in two games.
