SOHAM boss Trevor Benjamin has revealed he is planning to strengthen his squad ahead of their second season in the Southern League.

The Greens managed a respectable mid-table finish in their debut season at step four last year, but Benjamin has revealed he will be looking to push the club forward, as they prepare for the start of the 09/10 season.

Rangers were hit last week by the loss of full-back Aaron Turner who opted to join local rivals Mildenhall, but Benjamin was unfazed by Turner's decision and insisted he will be looking to make a few signings of his own,

"I wish Aaron all the best, he did a fantastic job for the club but he decided to join Mildenhall who he feels are a club with a bright future, said Benjamin.

"I've got a number of good full-backs at the club already but I've got some ideas for some new players, and there are some I'm looking at."

News was also announced this week that Southern League sponsor British Gas, is to be replaced as official league sponsor by drinks company, Zameretto. The league, known for many years as the BGB, will from next season become The Zameretto League.
