SOHAM Town Rangers have announced that striker Darren Jimson is to rejoin former team Wisbech Town.

After nearly two seasons with the Greens, Jimson has decided to return to the Fenmen due to personal commitments.

Fears surrounding the striker's future first surfaced in December but were temporarily allayed following talks with boss Ian Benjamin.

His signing will be welcomed by Wisbech - Jimson's home club - who are currently in the relegation zone in the Ridgeons Premier League, two points from safety.

Jimson scored 23 goals in 78 appearances for Soham, including seven goals this season.
