SOHAM United Youth's Football Club five-a-side tournament proved to be a great success.

A total of 48 local teams took part in five separate age groups and provided good entertainment for all who attended.

Soham Town Colts beat Soham United 3-0 in the under-8s final.

Ely Crusaders A beat Ely Crusaders B 2-0 in the under-9s final.

Soham United beat Witchford Colts 3-0 in the under- 10s final.

Cherry Hinton Lions beat Burwell Swallows 2-0 in the under-11s final.

Cherry Hinton Lions beat Waterbeach 2-0 in the Under 12s final.

The tournament's main sponsors were Marshall Motor Group, the Davis Group Plc and W F Services, while many other local businesses either sponsored or donated prizes.

The organisers would like to thank all who helped make the day possible.
