Alex Thoebald bagged a brace as Ely City picked up their first win of the season against Downham Town.

Craig Neal was also on target in the 3-0 Thurlow Nunn First Division triumph.

Up next on Saturday is an away day at Stowmarket Town.

In Kershaw Senior A, Ely City Reserves came from behind to draw 2-2 with Girton.
