LEADERS Ely Park Rangers came from three goals down to take all three points at the expense of Chesterton in Division 1A.

Adam Scott scored two own goals as Rangers threatened to capitulate in the opening 15 minutes, but Dave Cornwell's double reduced the first-half deficit to a single goal before half-time.

Jamie Gayfer made the scores level with a 20-yard volley, and substitute Stuart Seekings scored twice to put Rangers in control.

Chesterton managed to pull a goal back, but Cornwell went on to complete his hat-trick and make the final score 6-4.

Division 3A leaders Village Inn eased to a 9-2 victory against bottom-of-the-table Newmarket Albion Reserves, who played with 10 men throughout.

Mark Heading led the rout with a five-goal haul, and he was joined on the scoresheet by Michael Ward (2), Liam Morton and Matt Monteith.

Little Downham United claimed their third victory of the campaign in the same section - 4-3 at home to fellow strugglers Brinkley Red Lion - and in Division 4A there were victories for LTFC 1906 and Fox Burwell.

LTFC came through by the odd goal in nine at home to Prince of Wales Newmarket, but Fox Burwell remain second in the table after a 4-1 win at Studlands Park.
