An Ely recruitment company has supplied 20 gleaming new kits for the Ely Crusaders under 8 teams.

Xpert Resourcing decided to champion the up-and-coming football team for the next few seasons.

As sponsors, they bought them 20 full new kits along with fully waterproof clothing too.

The club aims to build on the heritage and support of Ely City and Ely Crusaders to create a strong, sustainable community football club capable of developing the talent and enthusiasm for the game in Ely.

Established in autumn 2015, Ely City Crusaders was created following the merger of Ely City, founded in 1886, and Ely Crusaders, who launched in 1965.

The new club sees the junior, youth and colts teams becoming known as Ely City Crusaders.

Last week, Xpert Resourcing managing director Paul Smith joined the children and coaches of the blue team to present the new kits.

The independent recruitment company has more than 40 years combined experience in specialist teams focusing on accountancy, office support, sales and customer service throughout Cambridgeshire and Suffolk.
