Archant

Ely City manager slumped to a 3-1 defeat against King’s Lynn Town Reserves at the Unwin Ground in their Thurlow Nunn First Division opener yesterday.

After the visitors went 2-0 up, captain James Seymour headed City’s goal from a Craig Neal corner to halve their arrears midway through the second half, but any hopes of a comeback were quickly dashed by a third goal from a highly-rated Lynn side.
