LITTLEPORT overcame a plucky Sutton side amid grisly conditions.

Port dominated the early play and took the lead from a corner a volley from speedy winger Jay Coombs. Sutton replied with a well taken goal, but it only served to spur Port to raise their game. Henry Harrison (2), Finn Cater (2), Ellis Yearn and Louie Diver completed the scoring for the home side.

Under 13s

Staploe & Duloe U-13 6

Isleham U-13 0

BOTH teams had early chances, but Staploe & Duloe made the most of theirs and opened the scoring on ten minutes.

Isleham pushed forward with two good shots from Ross Grant- Royall both narrowly missing the net and Kieran Fitchett came close with a fine effort. Staploe & Duloe broke through and doubled their advantage and quickly added a third.

After the break Staploe & Duloe move dinto a four goal lead . Isleham worked hard to get on the scoresheet with good attempts from Thomas Griffin and Sean Ward. The hosts kept up the pressure and netted again. Shay Sillitoe came close to scoring a consolation for Isleham, striking the outside of the post. Staploe & Duloe fired home once more making it six.
