ELY City slipped to second in the Ridgeons League First Division, on Saturday, when Swaffham won their game in hand to go two points clear. Ely's scheduled fixture against Downham Town was postponed because City's pitch was waterlogged and Swaffham beat March Town United 3-1.

Ely do not have a game on Saturday but Ely City Reserves (3pm) and Ely City A (2pm) are both due to play at home. Ely's next game is at home to Spalding in the East Anglian Cup on Tuesday at 7.45pm.
