ELY City will be looking to get back on the winners trail as they welcome Great Shelford to The Unwin Ground tonight (December 9)

The Robins' have been out of form lately with just won win in their last five games and they will be looking to play themselves into some kind of form as they take on Shelford in the Cambridgeshire Invitation Cup.

Chairman Bob Button said: "Hopefully we can take our chances tonight and get back to winning ways especially as we have been so up and down of late.

"Its been a long time since Denis (Lightning) has had a settled squad so I hope a good win tonight will help us to play our way back into form in both league and cup."

Boss Denis Lightning should have a full squad for the tonight's tie with Jamie Aalsop the only absentee after he picked up a hamstring injury against Kirkley and Pakefield. The game kicks off at 7.45pm.
