FOOTBALL: Martin Peters, who scored in England's 1966 World Cup final win over West Germany, will be guest of honour at a sportsman's dinner at Ely City FC next month.
Peters, who played for West Ham and Tottenham Hotspur and has an MBE, won 67 England caps.
Tickets for the event, on February 3, cost £40, which includes a three-course meal, a comedian, and a speech from Peters.
