NEW assistant Richard Carter watched from the dugout as 'Hall shared the spoils in a goalless draw with high-flying Needham Market on Tuesday night.
Carter, who was relieved of the managerial duties at First Divsion Long Melford on Friday, will assist manager Trevor Munns and assistant manager Ricky Cornish, initially until the end of the season. The situation will then be reviewed.
Munns said: "I have got to know Richard well over the last few months and I believe his involvement at Mildenhall will be advantageous for all concerned.

"He is enthusiastic and has a good knowledge of players at Ridgeons League level and above. I am confident Richard will prove to be a good addition to our management team."
There were no goals for Carter to cheer, however, as he saw 'Hall battle out a goalless draw. Neal Docking had a header disallowed five minutes from time for a foul on the goalkeeper.
The match was also notable for the debut of three players: striker Tom Beech, signed from Billericay; midfielder Louis Farrington, a capture from Histon; and goalkeeper Jake Winship, brought in from Dagenham and Redbridge reserves.
Now all attention turns to Saturday's FA Vase fifth round clash with Hillingdon Borough, one of the biggest games in the club's history.
"It's a very important game," said Cornish. "It will put Mildenhall Town on the map a little bit more. We've never been this far in the competition and we intend to enjoy it.
"We are going there full of confidence, we've got a good set of players and a good team.
"Hopefully, we can get through this round and see what the draw brings us. That's the great thing about the competition - you never know where you're going to end up.
