MILDENHALL wrapped up their second win in three games with a comprehensive victory over basement boys Clacton. The Essex side, who are without a point all season, held out for 40 minutes on Saturday but 'Hall's superior class told in the end.

Goals from Niall Inman, Graham Rush and Owen Paynter secured the three points as 'Hall put their foot on the pedal after being 1-0 up at half-time.

There was another good performance from loanee Daniel Herron, signed from Mansfield Town last week, as he linked held the ball up well up front.

"Clacton worked hard. They're a team full of young lads," said 'Hall assistant manager Ricky Cornish. "But we'll take the three points and a clean sheet.
