ELY City have been drawn against Diss Town in the extra preliminary round of the FA Cup.
The draw was made at FA headquarters in London on Monday and will afford the winner a spot in the preliminary round proper.
The match between the Robins and fellow Ridgeon’s League side Diss will take place at the Unwin Ground on August 20.
Should Ely progress they will play host to the winner of the extra preliminary clash between Walsham le Willows and Thetford Town.
Soham Town Rangers meanwhile, will enter the competition a round later that Alan Alsop’s men in the preliminary round where they will travel to either King’s Lynn Town or Whitton United. The tie will take place on September 3.
