EXCLUSIVE: FORMER Soham Town Rangers captain and talisman Michael Simpson has re-signed for the Greens just a month after leaving.
Simpson who left a big hole in the side when he left for Southern League Premier side Corby Town FC in October was spotted at the club late last week with Town confirming the capture today.
A Soham club official said: "I can confirm he is back, he has been at training with the side this week and he decided to re-sign with us last night.
"He was promised a lot by Corby Town and they never delivered so he has decided to return to Soham having turned down offers from much bigger clubs."
Soham Chairman Colin Murfitt said: "We are all delighted Michael has re-signed, he has always been a big part of the club and we all love him here.
