AN equestrian team from King’s Ely competed at an inter-schools arena eventing competition at The Jays near Bury St Edmunds at the weekend and won the 80cm team class, showing fine form over a mixture of show jumps and rustic style cross country jumps.

The team of Phoebe Plumb, Freia Gould, Annabelle Molyneux and Katie Cameron, range in age from eight to 13.

Katie also came second in the 70cm individual class.

“This was a fantastic result for the girls, who all rode very well. The Jays has been a venue where our King’s Ely riders have performed very well over the last year,” said team manager, Sue Collier.
