Ely played against Longstanton Grasshoppers at Ely last Thursday.
They won the toss and batted first with Tim Lucraft scoring an outstanding 83 runs before being caught by Matt Childs off the bowling of Dominic Frost.
Spencer Saberton scored an impressive 35 not out, but Ely's other wickets were taken by Tommy Dalton (1-17), Alex Fellows (1-31) and Angus Rea (2-23) and their total after their 20 overs was 156 for 5.
Longstanton struggled against the home bowlers with Edward George taking 3-8, Spencer Saberton taking 2-15 and Tim Lucraft clearing up the lower order with an impressive 3-4, Longstanton finishing on 30 all out to give Ely a 126-run win.
