Ely City under 18s are one match away from making history.

The Robins’ youngsters go head-to-head with Bedworth United in the FA Vase on Thursday (October 20) knowing a victory will earn them a place in the first round proper for the first time in the club’s history.

Ely have reached the final qualifying round in previous years, with their last appearance coming in the 2005/6 season where they were knocked out by Wealdstone following a 3-2 defeat. Steve Spriggs netted both goals.

Admission to Thursday’s game (7pm kick-off) at the Unwin is £3 for adults, £2 for concessions and under 16s are free.
