Starlet Ella Mason announced her arrival on the scene with back-to-back victories over a single weekend.

The 11-year-old, who plays her golf at the Ely City club, won the UK Kids Girls Final, played at Brampton Heath, in Northampton, on Saturday and followed it up just a day later with victory at the Ladies Championships at Heacham Manor, in Norfolk.

Her double success has seen her qualify to take part in the European Kids Championships, set to take place in Scotland, next February, and the World Kids Finals, which take place next summer at Pinehurst, in America.

In order to make the journey to compete in America, however, the Witchford Village College student, who plays off a handicap of 19, is on the look out for sponsorship.

If you can help, contact Ella’s parents, Steve or Denise, on 01353 863115.
