Soham I 95 all out

Fordham II 90 all out

Soham won by five runs

A COMBINATION of good bowling, fine cut cricket and atrocious batting produced a low scoring close encounter here, with Soham edging the match by just five runs.

Soham's opening bowlers Tony Kirby-Cook and Liam Eley bowled very well and Fordham struggled in their reply from the outset. Craig Theobald made 10 and Reece Theobald 13 but it was only skipper Steven Morley who played with any application.

Most batsmen got themselves out and Fordham fell five runs short as they were dismissed for 90, with 10 overs still remaining.
