BOTH teams are cntesting the runners-up spt in the league.

The players started ff well but Cambridge Suth brke thrugh twice t sneak a tw-gal lead by half-time.

Ely began the secnd half with the desire t raise their game and play t their full ptential. Midfielders Heather Cper and Ali Chapman prved t be pivtal in mving the ball between defence and attack. With the attackers nw receiving accurate balls frward, J Rayner fund the back f the net t take Cambridge Suth's lead t just ne gal. Ely shrtly added a secnd gal, fllwing a superbly directed free hit int the 'D' by Pamela Clarke which Chanre Bnd cnverted after a tussle with the keeper. With the final scre 2-2, it was a well-fught game played in gd spirit and a fair result.
