ADeC Directr Jane Wilsn is running in the Turing Relay n Sunday 16 March t raise funds fr Arts Develpment in East Cambridgeshire. She is still lking fr tw mre lcal runners t jin the 'Art Attack' team as well as spnsrship fr the race.
The Turing Relay is a six-stage relay race n riverside ftpaths frm Ely t Cambridge and back t Ely, rganised by the Ely Runners, These paths were used fr running by Alan Turing, the father f mdern cmputer science while he was a student at Cambridge. Jane will be running in a mixed team, and each runner has t cver apprximately 6-miles f the race.
'The Turing Relay is a great challenge and a fantastic way t see the cuntryside between Ely and Cambridge, - I'm really pleased t be able t run it and at the same time raise funds t supprt arts activity in East Cambridgeshire. I lead a running grup in my spare time, and there is s much in cmmn between sprts and arts that it's great t be able t cmbine them in this way,"said Mrs Wilsn.
