A DEAL that could see the return of Speedway to Mildenhall has now been agreed between stadium owner Dave Coventry and a Speedway consortium
A meeting last week between the two parties saw terms for a deal thrashed out and only ink on the paperwork now stands between eager fans and an exciting season of racing at the track.
A final agreement is expected to be announced in the coming days and talks between the parties were described by Chairman John D Bailey as 'very positive.'
In a statement of intent for the upcoming season in the newly named National League the club have revealed that they have secured the services of 24yr old Barrie Evans, back for a third stint at the club.
Evans, who rode for the club last season in the Premier League, will come in to the side on an 8.50 average and is expected to take up one of the heat leader berths.
