Matthew Eley was the fastest Ely club member, finishing in fourth in a time of 22 minutes and 15 seconds.

The following day, Derek Ricketts, John Manlow and Tom Sykes travelled to Essex for the Shaftesbury CC 25-mile Middlemarkers TT.

The afternoon proved to be a fruitful one for Derek and John, with both recording personal bests with times of 56 minutes and 14 seconds and 57 minutes and 49 seconds respectively.
