FORMER world darts champion and PDC superstar Steve “the bronzed adonis” Beaton will be taking on all-comers at the White Horse in Witcham this week.
Entry to the event, which takes place on Friday, is free and there will be opportunities to play Steve up for auction on the night.
Steve will also be taking on qualifiers from recent events that have been held and some of the players from local darts leagues. There will also be a raffle on the night and all proceeds will be donated to the Witcham Village Hall fund.
In July, the pub was host to the Don Saberton Memorial Darts Knockout. More than 40 players took part in the event, which was won by Essex county player Michael McCombe who beat Cambridgeshire B player Pete Fuller 3-1 in the final.
