Soham regained their lead when James Seymour set up Elliot Drewery for a brave finish, and increased it when Seymour lobbed the keeper from outside the box.
Further goals came from Dan Driver and Dan Whitwell before the break.
Soon after the re-start, Soham went down to 10 men and Bar Hill put them under pressure.
Soham defended well though and scored twice more, the first coming from Simon Murfitt and the second from Driver to complete his hat-trick.
Driver was Soham's man of the match.
