Ely & District Cycling Club’s end-of-the-season awards look set to go to the wire after two of the club’s riders finished with identical times at the Team Salesengine 10-mile TT last weekend.

Pace-setters Robert Golding and Matt Eley both finished the Cambourne-based challenge in 21 minutes and 16 seconds, while Paul Sparks pipped Rory Havis by three seconds with a time of 21 minutes and 30 seconds.

Martin Holmes finished in 22 minutes and 13 seconds, ahead of Phillip Gosling who crossed the line in 22 minutes and 33 seconds.

Derek Rickets finished the race in 23 minutes and nine seconds, with John Manlow and Alison Holmes finished in 24 minutes and 53 seconds and 26 minutes and 39 seconds respectively.

The race won was by Stuart Travis of Team Bottrill in 19 minutes and 34 seconds.
