Netball Ely II 32 Burwell 23
Ely II started the game strongly against top of the table Burwell, finishing the first quarter 12-0 ahead.
After struggling in the second quarter, Ely regained momentum and continued pressure from Lizzy Vere and Cat Terry in defence helped keep the score in their favour.
Centre players Jo Hayward, Charlotte Butcher and Louise Howliston ensured the match maintained a steady pace, with some great shooting from Sharon Coxall and Rebecca White ensuring Ely’s first win of the season. Sharon Coxall was named player of the match.
