HADDENHAM completed a hat-trick of victories at the weekend with a five wicket victory over Burwell.
Phil Cornwall was the hero on the day for Haddenham as he led the way with both bat and ball to keep the visitors perfect record in tact this season.
Bowling first, Haddenham kept the visitors progress pegged and, led by Cornwall whose scintillating bowling saw him collect 5-42, they skittled Burwell for just 124.
Having not long finished with the ball, Cornwell turned his attentions to the bat and, coming in at the top of the order, crafted his way to 61. Manfully assisted by Gary Thistlethwaite the pair kept the scoreboard ticking and manoeuvred Haddenham into a winning position, one they converted for the loss of just five wickets.
