FOUR goals and a fourth clean-sheet running gave Crusaders a satisfying win against Richard Scott Soccer.

Crusaders moved ahead when Lewis Hook slotted home Alex Brown's pinpoint pass and this was swiftly followed by a second Ely goal as Sam Scarborough converted.

Crusaders dominated the second half without ever having to produce their best form and they deservedly scored again as Edward Frodsham netted from distance. James Barrett completed the scoring as he rolled in Ely's fourth.

Haddenham Rovers Colts 3

Bottisham 0

ROVERS continued their remarkable 14 month unbeaten run as they overcame a resilient Bottisham team 3-0.

Haddenham sprung out of the traps and despite playing into the wind got a dream start when, within two minutes, Joshua Akinwumi rifled past the keeper.

Bottisham came back strongly, but were left reeling when Akinwumi put Rovers 2 - 0 up within 15 minutes. Rovers took total control in the second half and Bottisham were dealt the killer blow with 12 minutes remaining when Ollie Johnson netted.

Ely Crusaders 0

Littleport Town 3

THE first half of this local derby saw Ely play the better football and create most of the chances but neither keeper was troubled.

The first goal came from second half sub Arron Heaps after a good piece of skill inside the box gave him the room to lob over the keeper. Port were spurred on by the goal and the second soon followed from a Ben Hawkins corner as Charlie Bowditch came in at the far post to side foot home. Port's third was again from a Hawkins corner with Jake Kennedy firing into the net.

After the break Soham still had the upper hand and soon added to their lead when Liam Lewis's perfect cross found Ollie Kerridge. This goal seemed to knock all wind from Girton's sails and the remaining twenty minutes were played out with neither side creating much in the way of chances.
