Priory Parkside 9

Isleham United 3

UNITED'S depleted team travelled to play Priory Parkside in what was a tough encounter.

It didn't take long for the hosts to gain a two goal advantage. Isleham's keeper, Jamie Eavis made some good saves before Priory Parkside scored their third. United's Kieran Fitchett came close before a volley from O'Brien found the net and a strike from Sean Ward was on target making it 3-2. A super shot from Callum Wilkinson was stopped by the home keeper, but the rebound was chipped in by Sean Ward to level the score. Isleham's ten men began to tire as Priory Parkside stepped up the pace and bagged three more before the break. They kicked on in the second half despite Isleham battling valiantly and finished the game 9-3 ahead.

Soham Town Colts 2

Willingham Wolves 1

TOWN'S triumphed in their final match of the season against a previously unbeaten Willingham side.

Soham battled hard and kept their opponents out with some fine defending in the first half. Their fine form carried over into the second half and they eventually got their reward when James Seymour slotted home.

As Willingham pushed for a leveller Town went out on the attack again and got a vital second goal when Liam Lewis smashed home at the back post. There was still time for Willingham to get a consolation straight fro the re-start but Town held out for the win.
