Ely Crusaders 0

Stretham Hotspur A 0

CRUSADERS battled to a draw against Stretham Hotspurs in a game that produced few clear opportunities.

Early during the game, Ely struggled to contend with Stretham's direct approach with the ball frequently in and around the Crusaders penalty area.

Lewis Hook fashioned the clearest chance of the half when he broke away from within his own half only to push his shot just wide.

An early chance for James Barrett could have put Ely ahead in the first minute of the second half however his effort bounced to safety off the post.

Stretham Sporting 6

Warboys 1

STRETHAM secured promotion after a comprehensive victory over Warboys.

The home side played some great passing football from the start and had Warboys up against it early.

Eventually Sporting's pressure told and goals from Josh Robinson (2) Liam Woolard (2) and Colt Harvey (2) secured a fine victory.

Man of the match was Liam Woolard who marshaled the midfield admirably.
