TWO boxers from Haddenham ABC have reached the quarter-finals of the Junior Amateur Boxing Championships.
Tyler Goodjohn and Perry Moore, who are both Eastern counties champions in their weight categories, will be fighting in Newcastle this weekend in the under-66kg and under-80kg categories.
Goodjohn faces tough opposition in Lewis Cunningham, from Middlesbrough, while Moore will be facing Declan Fusco, from County Durham.
Trainer Mick Sawyer expressed his confidence in both fighters, tipping them for glory.
"I think they both have a good chance," he said. "Tyler's got the experience and Perry has got the weight advantage."
A win for either fighter would mean two fights in as many weeks, with the next round being scheduled for next weekend.
