In a scrappy match, Beech struck a penalty before half-time after Nick Impey was clipped in the box as he went past a defender.
Just before the hour, a Reeves shot from the edge of the area struck both posts before crossing the line.
City were able to comfortably see out the rest of the match with the home side offering no threat.

Ely boss Dennis Lightning said: "It was far from spectacular but it's all about getting the points at this stage. The top of the table is so tight and there is a real tension in our performances now until we get the first goal."
# Ely moved up to third with a 2-1 win at Godmanchester on Tuesday night.
City play Fakenham away on Saturday and Biggleswade at home in the semi-final of the Hunts Premier Cup on Tuesday.
