Men's League

IN a week disrupted by rain which caused some matches to be abandoned after the 12-end minimum, Haddenham were the most successful, taking 12 points off Stretham and Hiam. With three played so far, City of Ely are still looking for a win, one of their defeats giving newcomers Bottisham their first bonus.

Ladies' League

ELY Beet A and Haddenham both won away with a 33-34 scoreline at Soham A and Stretham respectively on Thursday. City of Ely were involved in another close finish following their opening draw with Soham A when they pipped Ely Beet A by one shot.

Afternoon League

Division One

BOTTISHAM A only avoided relegation on shot difference last year but have made a good start this season with two wins, the second on all rinks at City of Ely. Champions Mitchell Lodge lost again and have just one point from their two openers while

Littleport B have only dropped one point.

Afternoon League

Division Two

FORDHAM B and Mildenhall have both begun with double victories in their bid to return straight back to the first division last week, away to Haddenham B and Ely Beet who are the only teams yet to win. Newmarket B have also come out on top twice.
