Children urged to get in the swim

Local school children are invited to compete in the Aquathlon. It is free of charge and is for children between the ages of eight and 16. A 100m swim will be followed by an 800m run, competitors of all abilities are welcome to join in, and everyone will be competing for medals. The event will run alongside the Triathlon Relay on Sunday, September 3, 11am-1pm, at the King's Junior School, Barton Road, Ely. Entry forms are available from Specsavers in Ely, by emailing swimmingclub@elyoffice.fsnet.co.uk, or by visiting www.elytriathlon.co.uk
