Netball CITY of Ely Netball Club’s second team were this week crowned champions of the Cambridge & District Netball Winter League.
Olivia Petherick captained her winning team throughout the season in which the team grew in confidence and won 14 out of their 16 matches.
The table-toppers automatically gain promotion into the next league up and can now look onwards and upwards into Division 1 for next season.
The club are looking for new faces and are running a netball taster session on Thursday, July 18, from 7:30pm at King’s Ely netball courts. To find out more go to www.cityofelynetballclub.btck.co.uk
